WHO WE ARE

WE ARE THE ONLY FORCE-FREE DOG TRAINING COMPANY IN THE JOPLIN, MO AREA

In our process of learning how to train dogs, we learned very quickly that there was a clash in the culture of the dog training industry. One side believes aversive tools like prong collars, choke chains, e-collars, and other dominance-based training methods were necessary to change annoying or unwanted behaviors.

The other side believes that as our role as pet guardians that our top priority should be to protect and teach our dogs, not to intimidate and harm them. It turns out that science supports this side.

Several studies have shown that the use of aversive tools in training animals can cause long-term damage and that positive reinforcement is all that is necessary to help improve or change annoying, unwanted, or dangerous behaviors.

"You saved me not just with one but with both my Babies Teddy and Molly my labradoodles. I have learned more about dogs In the past few months then I ever did in the past years. Your patients and kindness with the dogs as will as myself (yes with me as well) you have showed me how to love my babies more each day, you are the best in my eyes, and I know I can count on you in the future for help tips or even advice.

Thank you James so much for your time in teaching us to be better for each other. Thank you"
